Getting Started
Installation
If you are in the Figma app, search for FireJet
in the plugin library.
If you are using Figma in your browser, install the Figma plugin here.
Usage
Load any editable Figma project to use the plugin and follow the video below. Once the project is loaded, right click anywhere in your workspace to access the FireJet plugin. Right Click
> Plugins
> FireJet
You must have edit access for the project. If you only have read access, you can duplicate the project to create an editable copy.
You can perform Figma Quick Actions with the command Ctrl
+Shift
+P
and type “FireJet”
Logging In
Firejet requires you to register for an account. But don’t worry, it’s just a simple 2 click process.
Once the plugin window is active, click on the login button on the bottom right hand corner. A new tab will open in your browser where you can login with either your Google or Github account
You’re all set to start converting components!
Converting a component
Select any Frame in your project and click on the Generate Code button. Once your code is generated, you can either access the generated code files directly from the plugin. Alternatively, you can run the code in Codesandbox by clicking on the Preview button.
